Bikur Cholim
Our fulfillment of the mitzvah of bikkur cholim is usually within our own shul community, or with nearby neighbors. The Women's Cancer Resource Center gives us the opportunity to extend this mitzvah by fundraising to help women with cancer throughout the East Bay. Brochures to sign up are in the lobby of Netivot Shalom; the Women's Cancer Resource Center's Swim a Mile benefit is one way to contribute.
