Welcome to Netivot Shalom

Congregation Netivot Shalom is an egalitarian, participatory Sacred Community that encourages and engages in Tefilah (Prayer), Torah (Learning), Tzedeka (Social Justice), and Kehillah (Community) within our congregation and the broader community.

Our mission is to inspire Jewish practices among individuals and families who are considering Judaism, are intermarried, or Jewish. We share a commitment to Conservative Judaism and furthering individual and communal spiritual growth, while recognizing a range of personal philosophies, practices and needs.

Fall, 2010 - Shoreshim Religious and Hebrew School Registration

Welcome to a Great Year of Learning at Netivot Shalom!

Hello! It is with tremendous excitement that we prepare for a new year of learning and building community. We are looking forward to making use of our new improved Kid’s Library at Netivot Shalom and offering Edah, an innovative after-school program for Kindergarten students which will offer enrichment opportunities four days a week and include our Thursday Kindergarten class within the new program.

We are also very pleased with our newly enhanced Amitim Program for Bat-Bar Mitzvah students in 6th grade and 7th grade and the Pre-Amitim prep class for the Fall Semester of 6th grade.  We’ll continue our new Beit Midrash program which brings together 1st through 5th graders each week to explore a “Torah Mystery” and continue to incorporate Hebrew and Jewish music into our program in addition to more hands-on learning through games and activities.

If you have any questions about registration, the contract, or programs, please contact me at: education@netivotshalom.org or 510-549-9447, ext. 104.
